CoroWare’s Robotics & Automation team offers services designed to maximize investment dollars for robotics researchers and developers. Our in-depth experience with real-time operating systems, wireless communications, and custom protocol development helps our customers solve their toughest problems quickly and cost-effectively.
Our team is comprised of seasoned developers and classically trained roboticists to give you expert guidance in your development and integration project. We’ve worked with companies around the globe delivering solutions for unmanned air vehicles, telepresence robots with real-time video and audio, cross-platform networked data visualization software and custom simulation environments.
We excel at using common off-the-shelf components for faster delivery times and easier maintenance, for a fraction of the cost of projects that require specialized parts. We’ve designed and developed several custom robots for Vassar College and other universities. The results can be seen in our CoroBot line of products.
Simulation systems allow developers to test their code under highly-controlled circumstances. Standard techniques can aid development and debugging by accurately reproducing specific test conditions, as well as simulating emergencies and failure events. Adding physics to a simulation can enhance these efforts, allowing the simulation to more accurately model interactions such as friction and inertia between robots and their environment.
CoroWare’s experts have experience developing rich, customer-specified simulations in both Linux and Windows. These simulations can support both visual rendering and physical elements such as collisions.
We were among the first companies to support the development and deployment of Microsoft Robotics Studio. In 2008, we launched the CoroWare ClassPack for Microsoft Robotics Studio, a simulation of our CoroBot™ product. Click here to see examples of CoroWare's simulation expertise
